DERNY RACE

The London 3 Day
NOVEMBER 13 - NOVEMBER 15
What the race is

The Derny Race is motor-paced racing at its rawest. Each rider sits in the slipstream of their own motorised "derny" bike, drafting inches off the wheel as the pace winds up to breathtaking speeds. Unlike the Keirin, the derny and its driver stay in the race from start to finish - the driver is as much a competitor as the rider, judging the pace, holding the line and delivering their rider into the perfect position. You can see the speed, hear the speed and smell the speed as the field thunders around the boards.
