Franziska started ballet when she was six years old and then made the leap to cycling at twelve, following her brother’s wheel marks. She started in road, but had to include track at age fifteen. She fell in love with track and immediately began winning races. She signed with Ceratizit Wnt Pro Cycling in the middle of 2019 and is also a member of the German army since 2017.
